‘Circle of Peace’ – 57ft Traditional Stern Narrowboat by Heywood Boat Builders

Walkthrough Video – Click Here

Built by the respected Heywood Boat Builders in 2004, this 57ft traditional stern narrowboat offers an attractive opportunity to acquire a well-proportioned vessel with a practical, modern layout. Recently blacked, the boat provides a solid foundation for its next owner and would make an ideal leisure cruiser or liveaboard. Internally, it would benefit from some cosmetic attention, including areas of side lining requiring re-fixing and some surface rust, presenting an excellent chance to add value.

Brokers Note: The hull is supplied with a Declaration of Conformity. As the original fit-out was completed at a later date by a third party, no Post Construction Assessment is available.

Accommodation
Entry to the vessel is gained via the traditional stern through double steel doors and a sliding hatch.
Located at the aft of the boat, the main cabin offers a comfortable double berth with useful storage beneath, complemented by a range of fitted wardrobes and cupboards providing ample storage space.
A starboard-side corridor leads forward into a well utilised walkthrough bathroom and utility area. This is fitted with a corner shower enclosure with glazed screens, a cassette toilet, a vanity unit with work surface, wash basin with mixer tap, and a washing machine.
A central doorway opens into the galley, which has been refitted in recent years to a good standard using quality materials. Arranged on both sides of the cabin, the galley benefits from generous storage within modern base units, attractive work surfaces, a stainless steel sink with mixer tap, a freestanding cooker, tumble dryer, and an under-counter fridge/freezer.
Forward of the galley is a spacious and welcoming saloon featuring a solid fuel stove as a focal point, together with ample space for freestanding lounge furniture, making it an ideal area for relaxing or entertaining.
Double stable-style glazed wooden doors provide access from the saloon to the forward well deck, creating a light and inviting connection to the outside space.
Although requiring cosmetic attention throughout, the boat provides a solid, functional living space that can be enjoyed immediately while improvements are carried out over time.
