MEET THE TEAM

Tracey Simmonds
The brains of the business, Tracey has worked in customer service and finance roles in the motor, aviation and marine industries and brings with her a wealth of experience. Always happy to help, she is the organizer at home and in the office, so if you ever want to know what’s going on, Tracey is the one to ask! During the mowing season, Tracey is usually attached to a strimmer or her new favourite toy, the Boomer tractor and flail!

Duncan Simmonds
Duncan Simmonds (1962-2024) worked and played on the water his entire life and helped numerous people navigate their way into the world of boating – He was never happier than when he was on the water. We lost Duncan in a devastating accident on the 12th of November 2024. Tracey and Emma continue to run the marina in his memory – as he would have wanted.

Emma Tiley
Tracey’s daughter and Buddy’s mummy, Emma began life at the marina as a part-time grounds’ person, caretaker, and general dog’s body while she was still at school. Since joining full-time in 2018, she has followed an apprenticeship while getting to grips with all the other tasks expected of a marina person, which she now handles comfortably along with looking after her son Buddy and two horses!
Barbara Bruce
We welcomed Barbara to the team during the summer of 2023 to help with office admin, organise the Cabin and look after the toilet and shower block, all of which she has taken full control of and appears to really enjoy! Many of our customers will already know Barbara and Ian who have moored at the marina since 2018 and now own a lovely wide beam called ‘Eutopia’. In her spare time, Barbara is a skilled seamstress and enjoys walking their dog ‘Bella.
