Construction
White (Painted) GRP moulded hull, topsides, decks and superstructure, grey painted non-slip deck panels, alloy framed cabin windows and folding screens with toughened glass, stainless steel pulpit rail, grab rails, stanchions and hand rails, stainless steel cockpit rail and bathing ladder, alloy/PVC gunwale fendering, stainless steel canopy frame, blue fabric cockpit canopy. Please note, although the hull topsides and superstructure have been painted, they still display a good quality finish. Taro was last out of the water and antifouled in Late 2022. Surveys were previously carried out in 2015, 2017 and 2022.
Accommodation
An easily accessed aft cockpit with rear bench seating, general stowage beneath, canopy with removable, zipped side panels, port side helm position, matching reversible helm's and co-pilot's chairs, lifting floor panels with access to the engines, batteries, LPG locker, fuel tank and bilge area

A WC & shower compartment to port with wash basin, mixer tap, shower attachment, manual sea toilet, mirrors and wipe down surfaces.
Dinette with storage beneath and pedestal table that drops down to convert into a double berth. There is a large storage locker between the dinette seating and forward bulkhead.
The galley to starboard has been re-fitted with a dark grey work top to compliment the original joinery incorporating a stainless steel sink and drainer with hot and cold taps, locker and drawer storage and an oven with stainless steel heat deflector.
Seating forward of the galley with storage beneath, also offering an additional single berth.
The forward cabin is private and separated from the saloon area by a full height and width bulkhead with a cabin door in the middle and comprises twin vee berths with infill cushions to form a double berth, storage beneath, a large hanging locker on the port side and a deck hatch above.
There are windows all round that provide light and air to the accommodation. The interior has been well maintained in its original varnished Sapele ply and timber to compliment the modern touches, including the head linings, which have been nicely re-done in white plastic panelling. Lighting is provided by LED and halogen lights.
Engine
Mercedes OM636 diesel engines coupled to shaft drives with twin single lever engine controls. Fuel, RPM, temperature, alternator and oil pressure gauges.
Equipment
Jabsco sea toilet, Voyager 4500 LPG cooker, 1 x 3.9kg LPG bottles (Gas system requires attention before use), Eberspacher warm air cabin heater, 55L calorifier tank, compass, depth sounder, VHF radio, brass clock and barometer, fire blanket and extinguishers, CO alarm, mooring ropes, life ring, fenders, boat hook, anchor and windlass.
