62′ Dutch Style Narrowboat ‘Piccalily’

Construction
Steel plate shell in 10/6/4mm designed by Salway and Fitted out by S C Shepherd
Cruiser stern with removable bespoke wheelhouse, double hardwood aft doors and folding hatch, side half doors, Houdini hatch,  forward escape windows, hopper style windows and potholes with privacy film and removeable acrylic double glazed insert, cream cabin sides and roof, red gunwales and decks (boat was professionally repainted in 2019 by Willow Boats and remains in very good condition), roof window (dog box). The interior is fully insulated with spray foam. Last blacked and anodes replaced in October 2024.

Accommodation
The boat can be accessed by both sides of the removable wheelhouse.
The wheelhouse contains bench seating to the rear and well equipped helms position. An immaculately kept engine bay can be accessed via the wheelhouse floor which also contains the diesel heater, batteries and calorifier.
From the wheelhouse via double hardwood doors and a folding hatch steps lead down into:-
Utility Room with ample storage space on both sides, electrical systems, work surface, Indesit washing machine and Electra tumble dryer. Moving forward, a central doorway brings you into the:-
Galley - well fitted and equipped galley built of base units, drawers and shelving, black granite effect work surfaces, stainless steel sink and drainer with mixer tap, Bellina fan oven/grill and hob. Under counter fridge and freezer.
Saloon - the saloon lies forward of the galley with plenty of space for free standing sofa or armchairs, Multi fuel stove on a fireproof surround (serviced in 2025).
A starboard side doorway leads to full width ‘Walkthrough’ WC & Shower Compartment -  corner shower cubicle with sliding screen and water saver showerhead button, a vanity unit with wash basin, a manual flush Thetford cassette toilet and towel radiator.
Moving Forward via portside doorway, you will find:-
Master Cabin - comprises a double berth with storage, fitted storage cupboards at the forward end of the cabin, reading lights, escape windows to forepeak.
The entirety of this vessel has been immaculately maintained by the current and previous owners with much of the equipment being under a year old. Cabin Headroom is 6'4".

Engine
Isuzu 42hp 4 cylinder diesel engine (42hp) coupled to a shaft drive via a PRM Hydraulic Gearbox with a single lever engine control and hydraulic steering. Temperature, voltage and oil pressure gauges. Vetus bow thruster fitted in 2023.

Equipment
Webasto diesel fired central and underfloor heating, thermostat, radiators and 1 towel rail radiator, 60 LTR calorifier tank with immersion heater(Replaced in 2024), Multi fuel stove (Serviced 2025), fire irons, 12v domestic fridge/ freezer, fan oven/grill with 4 burner hob, washing machine and tumble dryer, Thetford cassette toilet ,2x19kg gas bottles,  500L stainless steel water tank, heavy duty boat anchor, navigation lights, Lowrance chart potter, sounder and fish finder, galvanic isolator, fire extinguishers (all new in 2025), 2 x bilge pumps, large sofa bed, portable air conditioning unit.

Electrics
12v - 4  x 110aH lithium batteries (new in 2024 with built in BMS), 1 x lead acid engine starter battery (new 2024), 1 x bow thruster battery, Master Volt 2500 inverter/charger, Victron MPPT Controller, 3 x solar panels, solar charge controller, 12v switch panel, LED cabin down lighting, 12v domestic water pump, 12v bilge pumps, 12v fridge, Navigation Lights, and horn.
240v - shore power lead and connection, consumer unit, hot water immersion heater, plug sockets, Victron inverter/ charger.
