56′ Narrow Boat ‘The Zuzushii’

Construction
Welded steel plate base, hull sides, decks, cabin sides, and roof. Single-glazed hopper style windows, double aft doors and sliding hatch, glazed hardwood forward doors. LPG lockers on the aft deck. Water tank and separate diesel tank for the diesel stove at the bow. Dark blue decks and cabin sides with red stripe decals, dark blue non-slip roof, and blacked hull (last blacked and anodes replaced in June 2023)

Accommodation
Access to the accommodation is via forward cabin doors from the well deck or aft double doors and sliding hatch.
The aft cabin has a fitted double bed to port with storage beneath and wall-mounted storage cabinets above the bed. A starboard side door leads to:
Second Cabin/ Office space which is currently being used as an artists workspace. Since there’s no permanently fixed furniture in this area, it can be easily converted into a second bedroom or home office. Moving forward via central doorway you will find:
The bathroom which contains a full sized bath and shower to starboard, pump out toilet, ceramic wash basin with mixer tap. There is a handy retractable washing line mounted on the wall and a good amount of storage space. There is also a spare cassette toilet that will be included with the boat.
The galley comprises fitted storage cupboards, drawers, and a hardwood work surface, an inset stainless steel sink with a swan neck tap, a tiled up stand , an under-counter 12v fridge, LPG water heater, 2 ring hob and oven, storage shelves and plenty of sockets. Lastly, at the very front of the vessel, you will find;
A saloon with free standing furniture, storage lockers, shelving, windows on both sides with fold down shelves attached for extra storage, and a Bubble diesel fuel stove which also heats a single radiator.
The interior side and head linings are white tongue and groove panelling throughout. The flooring is a mixture of carpet and wooden flooring.

Engine
BMC 1.5 4-cylinder diesel engine with a Newage gearbox coupled to a shaft drive. Last Serviced in March 2025. Engine hours not recorded.
