This is an exciting opportunity to acquire a piece of boating history! This Freeman 26 was used to convey the Duke of Edinburgh at the opening of Grafham Water in the summer of 1966. ‘Vegas Baby’ has been stored ashore for the last 2 years and is now offered for sale – The boat’s engines are currently in the process of being recommissioned and serviced after several years without use, but will be up and running ready for her new owner to enjoy. We are open 7 days per week for viewings by appointment only please.

Construction
GRP moulded hull, topsides and cockpit hard top, painted light blue non-slip decks, deck hatch, timber straking, stainless steel pulpit rail and fittings, cleats, alloy framed windows, blue fabric cockpit canopy.
Mast and handrails have been removed for varnishing but will be put back on the boat before sale.
Accommodation
An aft cockpit with bench seating with storage beneath and access to the LPG locker, matching helm and co-pilot seats on raised platform with access to the engines beneath.
Central door and steps lead to the cabin area with:-
Galley to starboard with a sink, Calor gas oven and hob and ample storage.
Dinette/double berth to port with stowage beneath the seating, cocktail cabinet mounted on the rear bulkhead.
Head compartment to starboard with a Porta Potti toilet, half height locker to port, twin vee berths with stowage beneath, shelves either side.
The interior is fitted appears to have largely maintained it's original features.
Engine
2 x Petrol Ford engines coupled to a shaft drive with a single lever control at the helm. Gauges include a rev counter, temperature, oil pressure, fuel and voltmeter.
The engines are currently being recommissioned and serviced after several years without use - they will be running ready for a new owner to enjoy!
