Construction
Welded steel plate hull, decks, cabin sides and cabin roof (10/6/4mm thickness) by Andicraft Fabrications, Market Harborough. Fit-out by P M Buckle Narrowboats of Stibbington. Decks, cabin sides and roof painted cream with blue coach lines and hand rails, hull coated with black bitumen paint. Steel aft deck guard rail, timber aft cabin door with a timber sliding hatch. Alloy framed, hopper style double-glazed cabin windows, hardwood glazed double doors onto the well deck with glazed side panels, steel half doors opposite the galley. Integral water tank in the bow locker, chrome dome vents. Aft deck boards lift up for access to the engine, gearbox, prop shaft, weed trap, batteries, calorifier and boiler.
Interior – Spray foam insulation, varnished ply head and side linings with hard wood trims.
Hull last blacked and anodes renewed in October 2022.
Accommodation
Access is either via the forward or aft cabin doors.
From forward-: steps down into the large, open plan saloon with plenty of space for free-standing furniture and storage units or shelves, windows on three sides with venetian blinds, radiators and carpet.
U shaped galley to starboard with fitted base units, soft-close drawers and cupboard doors, solid wood work surfaces, stainless steel sink and drainer with a mixer tap, a counter-top hob, built-in grill and oven, under-counter dishwasher, free-standing fridge/freezer and additional shelving on the bulkhead wall. All the galley equipment and inventory is included in the sale.
A corridor to port leads to the master cabin with a sliding door, hanging storage with a curtain, free-standing double bed and overhead reading lights, window, radiator and carpet.
Further aft is a large bathroom, also with a sliding door, cassette toilet, corner vanity unit with a wash basin and hot and cold taps, a rectangular shower cubicle with a sliding door and shower mixer tap, heated towel radiator, free-standing washing machine, window with privacy glazing and varnished floorboards.
The carpeted corridor leads to the rear of the accommodation where this is access to the electrical and heating systems and also steps to the aft deck.
Cabin headroom is approximately 6′ (1.83m).
Engine
Vetus M4.45 diesel engine coupled to a conventional shaft drive. Single lever control, RPM gauge, voltmeter, charging, glow plug, temperature and oil pressure indicator and warning lights. Engine clock reads 139 hours. Last serviced October 2022.
Equipment
2 x 13kg propane LPG bottles, Indesit LPG hob and oven, fire extinguishers and fire blanket, Hurricane diesel boiler (6285 hours) and controller, radiators, hot water calorifier tank with thermostatic control, CO alarm, spare toilet cassette, wood venetian window blinds, TV aerial socket.
Electrics
12v – 1 x engine battery, 2 x leisure batteries, twin alternators, galvanic isolator, fuse panel, plug sockets, Thetford electric flush toilet, LED cabin lighting, Jabsco domestic water and shower pumps.
240v – shore power connection, consumer unit, plug sockets (some with USB sockets), immersion heater, Mastervolt automatic battery charger, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, dishwasher.
