50′ Cruiser Stern Narrow Boat ‘Phoenix’ SALE AGREED

Originally built in 1997 by K. Ward, ‘Phoenix’ has been well looked after by the current owner, including a complete repaint in 2013, which is still in excellent condition.  She is nicely fitted and well equipped, so ideal as a cruising or liveaboard vessel. A change in personal circumstances has led to ‘Phoenix’ being put up for sale. Please contact us to arrange a viewing.

Cruiser stern narrow boat of welded steel plate, bitumen painted hull, two-pack painted topsides in dark blue with red panels and cream coach lines, non-slip finish on gunwales, decks and roof. Anodised alloy-framed windows and port holes fitted with safety glass and a single side/half door. Based on surveyor’s original thickness gauge readings, the base plate, hull sides and topsides are respectively 8mm, 5mm and 2.5mm steel plate construction, welded to angle iron and box section frames.
The vessel suffered extensive fire damage in May 2000, was written off by the insurance underwriters, and the subsequent rebuild was overseen by a qualified marine surveyor. Copies of the surveyor’s reports from 2001 and 2005 are held in the vessel’s file and will be made available to interested parties when viewing the boat.
